Municipalities and Cities of Angola Trade Fair
At the invitation of Angola’s Ministry of Territorial Administration (MAT), Intersismet Consulting recently participated in the first Trade Fair of the Municipalities and Cities of Angola, held at FILDA, in Luanda, between October 3-6.
This Trade Fair, organized by the MAT, aimed to show the development of Angolan towns and cities and was attended by the Minister of Territorial Administration, Bornito de Sousa, together with representatives of the provincial governments (PG’s) and municipal administrations (MA’s).
Intersismet was responsible for the design and assembly of the stand dedicated to the SIIGAT project – the Integrated Territorial Administration Information and Management System, using advanced software and technology for this purpose, providing visitors with an innovative, comprehensive, dynamic and interactive overview of SIIGAT.
The SIIGAT Stand, built in the area reserved for the Ministry of Territorial Administration, was visited by the Minister of Territorial Administration, who praised Intersismet Consulting’s team and the stand’s architecture and presentation.
It should be recalled that Intersismet Consulting is the company responsible for implementing SIIGAT at the national level, a project launched by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and involving all the PG’s and potentially all the MA’s.
SIIGAT aims to organize and modernize the various provincial governments and municipal administrations, as well as to create an Integrated Information system that allows the Ministry to have access to, and monitor on a continuous and ongoing basis, practically online, all the information generated in the MA’s and PG’s that is considered to be relevant in order to monitor the management of the State’s various local bodies.
